Requirements for a Indonesia Business Visa
- Passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond exit date + at least one blank visa page)
- One recent passport-sized photos (must have a white background)
- A fully completed and signed application form (https://consular.indonesianembassy.org.uk/visa/) – complete online, print and then sign.
- An original business introduction letter from your UK company (see page 2 of our Pack for a template to know what should be included).
- A copy of the letter of invitation from the Indonesian host company (see page 3 of our Pack for a template to know what should be included).
- Recent bank statement showing a minimum of £1000.
- A copy of the flight booking showing return flights and dates.
- Proof of accommodation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Indonesia (e.g. hotel booking).
Additional requirements only for those applying for multiple-entry visas:
- Provide a copy of the approval form authorized by the Indonesian Immigration Department (please contact your Indonesian host company regarding how to obtain this approval).

Visa Exemption
Business Visa Rules
The visa exemption is only for 30 days and cannot be extended. Therefore, if you are planning on multiple visits or staying over 30 days, you need to obtain a visa prior to travelling.
Business visas are given by the Indonesian embassy to applicants visiting Indonesia for normal business activities such as attending a conference/seminar. This cannot and does not include taking up employment or receiving any payments whilst in Indonesia.
Attending Conferences / Seminars
You should also provide us a letter of invitation from the conference host explaining details (e.g. nature and duration of the conference)
This will be an alternative to the company invitation letter. You will also need to provide a supporting letter from your UK university / institution which should include permission and details of the conference.
